After The Fall and Brutal Youth to release split 7″

Canadian punks Brutal Youth and Albany based skate punks After The Fall are to release a split 7″ on Paper + Plastick Records on October 18th. The EP is out to coincide with Fest and features two new tracks from both bands.

Death Before Dishonor (Hardcore) streaming new album “Unfinished Business”

Boston hardcore veteran act Death Before Dishonor are streaming their new album Unfinished Business. Released through Bridge Nine Records, the album features eight new tracks, and carries a great old-school hardcore feel/sound.

Backtrack announce another leg of their final shows tour

New York hardcore band Backtrack have detailed the European dates of their final shows tours that take place throughout the rest of the year. The band are to split after the tours.

They take in the West Coast, before heading to Asia, Australia and Europe. Full list of dates below.



Death Before Dishonor (Hardcore, MA) Stream New Single “Cowards Will Fall” From Forthcoming Album “Unfinished Business”

Boston-based hardcore act Death Before Dishonor have a new album coming out on July 26. It’s called Unfinished Business and to get you lot in the mood for it, the band have been good enough to put out a single early.

You can enjoy this first taster of Unfinished Business below. If you like “Cowards Will Fall”, you can pre-order the full album now from Bridge Nine Records.

The previous full-length release from Death Before Dishonor was a whole ten years ago. It was the 2009 effort, Better Ways to Die.



Death Before Dishonor announce new album “Unfinished Business”

Death Before Dishonor have announced they are to release a new album on 26th July. Unfinished Business is an 8 song affair, recorded at Zeuss Studio (Hatebreed, Rob Zombie) and scheduled to come out on long time label Bridge Nine Records.

American War Machine, featuring members of Slapshot, Agnostic Front, Blood For Blood, and Intent To Injure, have announced the release of their debut LP.

The band will release “Unholy War” through Bridge Nine in April. The release follows their “Prey Drive” EP.  Check out the track listing below.



Beach Slang stream “I Hate Alternative Rock” (Bob Mould cover) ahead of covers EP

Philadelphia’s Beach Slang are to release a covers EP on March 15th. MPLS is out on Quiet Panic/Bridge Nine and was produced by Goo Goo Dolls bassist, Robby Takac. 

Ahead of the release, the band are streaming “I Hate Alternative Rock”, by Bob Mould, over at New Noise. Pre-orders are up now too.



War On Women stream new EP album “Live At Magpie Cage”

Baltimore’s War on Women are now streaming their acoustic EP, which was recorded live at J Robbins’ Magpie Cage Studio. “Live at Magpie Cage” follows up their full length, “Capture The Flag” which was released earlier this year. 

Both releases are off of Bridge Nine Records.
