Ravenna, Italy’s Actionmen have announced a new split album titled Defections which will also feature UK punks Dead Neck. When we asked the trio about the new track they told us, “It’s about (frontman/guitarist) Matteo. When he’s high, he feels himself like a lion, the symbol in the animal kingdom of majesty and beauty. He feels so good looking and sexy, and when he gets out, he feels himself observed by everybody. In the song (and in reality) he asks himself if people stare at him because he’s high or because he’s gorgeous, somewhere between reality and dream, expectations and fears ‘I’m doomed to be gorgeous’… Is it a stoned guy’s delirium or a stoned guy taking conscience?” Holy shit! We gotta get to Italy to party with these fuckers because they sound nuts! Hear what all the fuss is about, below!
