Rational Anthem (pop punk) release ‘Unimaginary Girlfriend’ from upcoming album

Iowa pop punk band, Rational Anthem have released another song from their upcoming new album ‘It’s Only Permanent’. The song ‘Unimaginary Girlfriend’ premiered over at and is an extremely catchy little number. The record is out on November 1st via A-F Records.

Starry Nights (pop punk) streaming new album – ‘Star Signs’

Iowa pop-punk group Starry Nights (members of Lipstick Homicide, Rational Anthem) are now streaming their new album, Star Signs, in its entirety. Listen to it below.

The band’s second album features a change in lineup and a change in sound, adding in a full band this time, after their debut album was acoustic. The album also features guest vocals by Joe Jack Talcum (The Dead Milkmen) on one track.

Starry Nights last released a self-titled EP in January 2016, following their debut album, Full Moon Spells, in February 2015.

Dingus (pop-punk) release music video for “Positive Qi”

Minneapolis via Fargo pop-punk band Dingus have premiered a pretty fun flip-book music video for their song “Positive Qi” and you can check it out below.

The track appears on the band’s latest full-length album, Who Cares? released via Bloated Kat Records.

Like Bats offer free download of full discography

Lansing, Illinois punk act Like Bats called it quits roughly a year ago, and now they’ve made their full discography available for free download in the form of a compilation album titled Hates You Back. The band never released a full-length record, which explains why their full discography consists of only 16 songs.

Boys stream new song “e.e. cummings sucks so hard”

Ohio pop punk act Boys released a new version of the song “e.e. cummings sucks so hard” this past Valentine’s Day. The song was originally recorded as an acoustic tune ,  but this version features a full band. Boys vocalist Megan S had this to say about the track:

“got a dumb cutie that keeps sending you shitty poetry? send ’em this song and let them know that you care but that they need to stop liking shitty things if y’all are gonna work out. happy valentine’s day.”
