The Replacements detail reunion EP

The reunited alternative/punk rock legends The Replacements have revealed details in regards to their highly anticipated reunion EP of covers, entitled Songs for Slim. They announced it last October as a way its members to raise money for their former guitarist Slim Dunlap, who suffered a stroke last year. The track listing can be viewed here.

The 10-inch EP will be strictly limited to 250 copies and each will be auctioned off to the highest bidder. After that, it will be available as a download. Pages on FacebookTwitter, and the official website have launched for the fundraiser of the EP.

The Replacements called it quits back in 1991 after twelve years together, spanning seven full-length studio albums (the last being 1990’s All Shook Down), a live album and an EP. The band currently has no further plans besides the new covers EP.

 1. Busted Up (Slim Dunlap)
2. Lost Highway (Hank Williams)
3. Everything’s Coming Up Roses (Jule Styne from Gypsy: A Musical Fable)
4. I’m Not Sayin’ (Gordon Lightfoot)
