As reported by our friends at The BR Page, on June 11th, Bad Religion bassist Jay Bentley mentioned that he, guitarist Brett Gurewitz and vocalist Greg Graffin had been emailing back and forth about the name of the new Bad Religion album set for release on September 28th. At that time, they had narrowed the list down to three choices but in an interview at the Azkena Rock Festival yesterday, Jay and drummer Brooks Wackerman spilled the beans and revealed that the new album will be titled… wait for it… The Dissent of Man. Boom! Great title and very Bad Religion sounding.
The Dissent of Man will be Bad Religion’s first studio album since 2007’s New Maps of Hell, and will likely include the new song “Resist-Stance”, which originally appeared on the live album 30 Years Live.
