Pacific Ridge Records has announced the release of a Senses Fail tribute album out August 31, 2018. The pop punk/screamo band has been gracing the airwaves and Warped Tour stages for over fifteen years now, and the good people at Pacific Ridge have decided to pay them a little homage.
The label, itself, is one built out of true passion for the bands and music explaining that “The history behind the founding of Pac Ridge is about not having to follow a predetermined path that society and culture deems is acceptable. It’s about choosing whether or not to dedicate yourself to a questionable course of action. It’s about not having dedicate yourself to college, work or anything else in life unless that particular path is what you truly find yourself passionate about. In other words, do what you want, not what others tell you to do.”
Included on the album is a rendition of the song “Can’t Be Saved” from the hit album Still Searching performed by Indianapolis pop punk quartet Chin Up, Kid. Fresh out of the studio from recording their own self-titled record available now on Standby Records, the band had this to say of their addition. “Can’t Be Saved was the last track we recorded during the sessions of our new self titled record. Being so fresh with the writing vibe of the album and already knowing the song, it was very smooth and natural to translate it into our sound.”
