Yesterday, we reported that Download Festival‘s official website uploaded a new photo of Bad Religion‘s current lineup, which lead to speculation that guitarist Greg Hetson (who has not toured with Bad Religion since last April) is officially out of the band.
Only a few days before that photo was posted, bassist Jay Bentley confirmed on The Bad Religion Page that Hetson’s fill-in Mike Dimkich (The Cult) is a permanent member of the band, simply stating “So Dimkich is a permanent member of the band”.
Bad Religion last released Christmas Songs on October 29th, 2013 via Epitaph Records. They recently announced plans to begin working on a new album this year.
