It’s been nine months since we initially reported that guitarist Greg Hetson was no longer playing in Bad Religion. More recently, a new photo of the band’s current touring lineup has been posted on Download Festival‘s official website, implying that Hetson’s fill-in Mike Dimkich (The Cult) has officially joined the band full-time.
No further information is currently available, other than a recent Tweet Dimkich posted regarding to the photo, which said:
“Anarchy In The UK indeed! This is possibly the first official band photo I’ve been in since Suckerpunch ’95”
We’ll keep you posted as more details on this story come to light. Bad Religion last released Christmas Songs on October 29th, 2013 via Epitaph Records. They recently announced plans to begin working on a new album this year.
