Remember last June that three demo songs that The Offspring recorded back in 1986 had surfaced? Well, this time, a 6-song demo tape that they recorded in July 1986 has surfaced online in its entirety, and you can download it here. The demo tape contains two songs that the band would re-record in 1989 for their self-titled debut album (“Blackball” and “Fire and Ice”, which is now known as “I’ll Be Waiting”), and four songs that have never been recorded again (“Tonight I Do”, “Call It Religion”, “Halloween” and the cover of Sweet’s “Ballroom Blitz”).
The Offspring are currently in the studio recording new material for their new studio album, which is supposed to be released next year. It will be the follow-up to 2008’s Rise and Fall, Rage and Grace.
