Wow! Seemingly out of nowhere former Good Riddance vocalist, Russ Rankin, has posted a handful of new solo demo tracks to his MySpace page. If you’ve been a fan of his at all over the last 15 years you’ll definitely want to check them out.
Russ is currently working on a brand new collection of his own songs which will be released as a solo project sometime in the near future (we’ll keep you posted). According to his MySpace bio Rankin’s songs will “remain true to his musical roots to an extent but fans can expect some experimentation with orchestration and melodic structure.”
After 14 years together and 7 full-length albums, Good Riddance played their last show on May 27th, 2007, but Rankin still holds down vocal responsibilities in Only Crime.
