In more news regarding anticipated album titles, apparently the title for the new Social Distortion album has been announced. Or rather, it was updated on Wikipedia with no source link (and not mentioned anywhere else on the internet) so this shouldn’t be considered 100% official. In any case, according to the usually accurate web encyclopedia the upcoming album due out later this year will be called Pain, Death and Love’s Lost Cause.
Social Distortion recently signed to Epitaph Records, who will release the new album, which will be their first of all new material since 2004’s Sex, Love and Rock ‘n’ Roll, and the band’s first release of any kind since the 2007 retrospective Greatest Hits.
Social Distortion will tour the U.S. this summer with Dan Sartain and The Action Design. The tour kicks off July 27 in Poughkeepsie, NY and makes seven stops in the Northeast before the band heads to Chicago for an August 7 main stage performance at this year’s Lollapalooza. Dates with Dan Sartain and The Action Design resume in Green Bay, Wisconsin on August 8.
