The Tampa Tribute is reporting that The Offspring have been working on a new album with producer Bob Rock for a possible 2015 release. About the album, Noodles stated:
“We’re getting there, but we’re not previewing anything yet. Even if we wanted to preview some songs, there’s no room on our setlist with ‘Smash’ and all of the other hits we’re playing on this tour.”
The Offspring just recently released the covers EP Summer Nationals exclusively on iTunes and Spotify via Time Bomb, which was released to coincide with the ongoing tour with Bad Religion, Pennywise and The Vandals. It is not known if Time Bomb will handle the release of the new Offspring album, which will be their first since 2012’s Days Go By, but we’ll keep you posted as more details on it come to light.
