Stolen from the band’s bio on their website:
Boston-based punk/emo outfit Trash Rabbit has been playing together since 2018. Founding members guitarist/vocalist Mena Lemos, bassist/vocalist Nic Adams, and drummer Gibran Mobarak, met in high school and began writing songs and performing in the Boston DIY scene. Taking inspiration from all kinds of music, from punk and emo to jazz, the band created a unique and refreshing sound that has been fueling mosh pits since its start. The band released their first EP, Trash/Cable, in 2018, and followed it with their first full-length LP Boy Problems, in 2019. The band began attending Berklee College of Music in the fall when they released their next single, Deadhouse, in November 2019.
The band continued through COVID, triumphantly playing their first show back at Lynch Family Skatepark in 2021, along with releasing Trash Rabbit Presents: Rabbit’s Rumble. In addition, guitarist Gia Flores joined the group, adding a new shimmering voice to the band’s sound. Since then, Trash Rabbit has played countless shows both in their hometown and across the northeast, opening for such acts as Guerrilla Toss and Speedy Ortiz and playing at venues such as the Sinclair and the House of Blues. They most recently have released a multitude of singles: Rock Bottom, Rubberneck, and Ace Anthem, which showcase the sonic signature that Trash Rabbit has to offer.
