According to a recent post on their Facebook page, Italian pop-punks Biffers were denied entry to the US while going through customs at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport this past weekend because their “VISAs weren’t correct”.
Shortly after they began booking shows for the tour, the band found out their documentation wasn’t correct, but it was too late to apply for different VISAs. Apparently they knew this could potentially keep them from entering the country, but didn’t want to cancel the tour.
The Kung Fu Records band did end up getting turned away at the door, and they were put on a plane to London from where they could make their way home to Livorno. Needless to say, the tour was cancelled but Biffers plan to reschedule soon. Hopefully the next one goes better!
