Sound investment records was founded by two good friends, Paul Picillo and Jeff Rowe, with a very simple concept in mind: Put out great records, one project at a time. Paul and Jeff cut their teeth on punk rock and hardcore from a young age and have played in several bands together over the years. They’ve toured the US and world together—which has only strengthened their friendship and love of music. SIR is the byproduct of the passion and drive put forth by the bands and labels we have been influenced by.
