SoCal metal/punk rockers Avenged Sevenfold have announced that they have set Hail to the King as the title of their long-awaited new album, which is set for release on August 27th. The title and the cover artwork (seen on the left) were uncovered via an online scavenger hunt that led fans to different web sites that were hosting puzzle pieces.
On the day prior to the album’s release, A7X will celebrate the album release by playing a free show at the Hollywood Palladium.
Avenged Sevenfold’s most recent studio album, Nightmare, came out in 2010 on Warner Brothers.
