L.A. punk legends Fear have announced that they will release a song that they recorded with the late John Belushi (who was a fan of the band). The song, which is expected to arrive soon, was intended to be released in the 1981 film Neighbors, and founder Lee Ving recently remixed it at Dave Grohl’s studio in Los Angeles. The name of the song is unknown at this time, but we’ll keep you posted as more details on it come to light.
Fear last released The Fear Record, a re-recording of their iconic 1982 debut album The Record, in November 2012. The band has not released an album containing new material since 2000’s American Beer, but they have been teasing plans to release new music.
