Introducing emo/punk act Brackish (Crucial Dudes, Podacter)

Meet Philadelphia’s Brackish. A new project spearheaded by scene veterans, Brackish combines beloved aspects of 90s emo with modern day punk. The quartet is geating up to release their debut EP “Young People” October 26th with a physical release through Good Sadie Media. Today we are proud to bring you a stream of “Recollection,” which will appear on the upcoming release.

Vocalist/Guitar Connor Byrne says of the track:

“Recollection is about the feeling of waiting for something and then once it arrives, being totally underwhelmed  that it is not what you expected. When you’re growing up you wonder what kind of adult you are going to be and how you will be different and most of the time, unbeknownst to most people, the answer is really up to you. There isn’t some exciting launch pad for a lot of people into adulthood, they create their own success and this song is touching on the feeling right before you figure that part out.”

You can give “Recollection” a listen and check out some upcoming tour dates below.
