If you’re like some of the more senior members of the Dying Scene staff, your personal foray into this crazy punk rock world overlaps completely with the existence of Fat Wreck Chords. As a result, 2015 is a pretty special year, as it marks a quarter-century since the first Fat Wreck release hit the streets!
To honor the occasion, the Fat Wreck crew will be embarking on what we think will be a series of pretty cool events. The first of those to be announced is being dubbed “Fat Wrecked For Twenty-Five Years,” and conveniently enough features the two very first bands to release albums on Fat Wreck, NOFX and Lagwagon. The gig takes place in Japan on November 23rd. No further information is available for now…but stay tuned! Meanwhile, check out the “Fat Wrecked for 25 Years” announcement video below.
