The Music Factory (Danny Thompson of Face To Face) announces “A Tribute to SoCal Punk Bands”

Man, I wish my music school was this cool when I was a kid. On second thought…I wish I had a music school when I was a kid…

As you may or may not know, Danny Thompson, drummer from veteran SoCal punk band Face To Face, co-founded a music school in Southern California (Costa Mesa, to be exact) a number of years ago. It’s called The Music Factory, and it provides a full gamut of music lessons to students interested in all things performance related. More info here.

Anyway, The Music Factor has announced plans for what their calling “A Tribute to SoCal Punk Bands.” It’s effectively a music recital where bands comprised of Music Factory students will tackle songs by Strung Out, The Offspring, Social Distortion, Bad Religion, Pennywise, X and Blink 182. Oh, and Face To Face, of course (no pressure to whomever is on that team). Click here for more information.
