California punk legends The Offspring have announced that they are re-releasing their 1998 classic album Americana on vinyl for the first time in over 15 years. The reissue, which is part of the Department of Record Stores‘ “Vinyl Club” series, will be available through Org Music and indie stores will have an exclusive 180-Gram red color. The colored pressing will be released on February 24th, 2015, while a black vinyl version will arrive a month later on March 24th. Head over here to get your pre-orders in for the colored version.
The Offspring last released the Summer Nationals EP in August 2014, which contains covers of Bad Religion and Pennywise songs. The band has been working on a new album, which is tentatively due for release next year, and will be their first since 2012’s Days Go By.
