Yesterday we reported that Thrice‘s upcoming album “Beggars” leaked almost 3 months before its originally scheduled release date of October 13th. Today the band has announced that in response to the leak they will be digitally releasing “Beggers” on August 11th while the physical release is still up in the air.
You can read the official statement from the band below, which basically says what I just wrote:
Good news. We have confirmed a August 11, 2009 digital release of Beggars. The digital album will be available exclusively through iTunes. The date of CD release is still pending, but it will contain bonus material. We’ll let you know more about that as soon as we can.
