Let’s cut right to the chase on this one…Chuck Ragan is back!
The iconic singer/songwriter/Hot Water Music co-frontman is about to release his first solo full-length since 2014’s Till Midnight (or I guess since 2016’s The Flame And The Flood video game soundtrack). It’s called Love And Lore, and it’s due out October 25th on his old label home, Rise Records.
The album traces its roots back to 2016 and had a few starts and stops over the years – family matters and global pandemics and a surge in creativity in the HWM camp will do that – before work picked up again in 2022 and early 2023. The result is ten songs that are classic “Chuck Ragan,” but that also sound different than his past solo efforts. More on that later.
