Holy mackerel I’ve been waiting for this record for what feels like ever. And now it’s here! August 11th is the official release date for Local Support, the brand-new full-length from Boston’s Rebuilder. This record has been a labor of love in myriad ways, and for a while I wasn’t sure if it would ever get finished. But Sal and Daniel and Brandon and Craig and sometimes Harley and Pat and Jay Maas and Britney and Yosef and the whole crew that constitutes the band’s local support came together and hit a home run. As of this week, it also officially marks the band’s first release on their new label home, Iodine Recordings. It’s pretty awesome how everything finally came together against seemingly all odds. Fire it up here! And yes, vinyl is coming. Not today…but it’s coming!
