Written and recorded over the last year, the album’s twelve songs reflect a range of personal themes that the band have experienced first hand. Navigating fear of death, loss of faith in humanity throughout lockdowns, collective grief, resilience in relationships and falling in love are some of the topics the band digs into. Describing the album, guitarist/vocalist Colin Thompson says: “‘Into The Blue Night’ feels like an emergence from a long tunnel into the light beyond. New but at the same time, familiar. It’s a natural progression from our first EP, taking the elements of our sound and amplifying them.” They enlisted the help of Toronto based producer/engineer, Josh Korody, who helped amplify and elevate their sound to greater heights.
