California punk veterans Ten Foot Pole have announced plans to release their first new full-length album in a decade sometime next year through NOFX guitarist El Hefe’s label Cyber Tracks. Here’s what frontman Dennis Jagard had to say about the record:
“It’s too early in the process to limit or define what’s going to come out, but I think it’s safe to say that fans can expect candid, sincere, honest and outrageous lyrics matched with some aggressive music, a few well-placed stops, and generous helpings of pick slides and feedback. I think a good song works regardless of genre, so I just try to write whatever comes to mind.”
We’ll keep you posted as more details on the new Ten Foot Pole album, which will serve as a follow-up to 2004’s Subliminable Messages come to light. The band will be touring the US, Canada, and Europe all summer long – more details can be found here.
