The guys working on the upcoming “A Fat Wreck” punk-u-mentary are looking for bands to put on a Fat Wreck Chords covers compilation.

Interested groups need to send in a high-quality recording of a cover of any Fat Wreck song from the 90′s. It should show some originality and needs to be submitted here within the next 30 -45 days.

“A Fat Wreck” is a short documentary about Fat Wreck Chords, which was mostly filmed at Punk Rock Bowling 2013. It features interviews with Ryan Greene, Joe Sib, JT Haabersatt, Mike Wiebe, Denise Borders, Tim O’hara, Dave Buck and many more.

Just to be clear, the comp is not going to be a Fat Wreck release, right? It appears that this documentary and the comp they are talking about is not affiliated with Fat Wreck Chords at all.

Not that there’s anything wrong with that. Looking forward to seeing the film!
