As some of you may know in March of 2012, Close Your Eyes vocalist Shane Raymond, parted ways with the band. Well. today Close Your Eyes have announced that Sam Robinson will be taking over vocal duties. They will be touring Europe starting in September and will release their new album “Line in the Sand” the following month. Here’s what they had to say:
“We are very excited to finally be able to share with everyone that Sam Robinson is the vocalist of Close Your Eyes. I’m already blown away by the new material that we have been working on – his voice is a very strong addition to the CYE family. He is an incredible vocalist and a great guy that shares our vision and purpose. We cannot wait for everyone to hear the new songs and to be back on tour again. Come hang out and say what’s up to Sam! Also, we are currently in the studio with Cameron Webb (SILVERSTEIN, ALKALINE TRIO), fans can expect Line In The Sand to hit stores October 2013.”
Close Your Eyes last released “Empty Hands and Heavy Hearts” October of 2011 through Victory Records.
