In honor of their first year in business, Austin, TX recording studio Renaissance Recordings are currently holding a contest for a free EP recording session. The winners will be granted tracking for 14 minutes of recorded material, mixing, and mastering. If you’re reading this piece of news and think this sounds like a pretty sweet deal, here’s what you have to do to be considered:

A press kit must be submitted including a demo of the songs intended for the EP, as well as a video of the band performance/rehearsal, a bio, band picture as well as a rundown of what your band is doing and why you think you should have your EP recorded for free.

Sounds awesome right? In order to be considered, your band must have at least 2 members, perform some sort of variation of punk rock and must be able to travel to Austin for the recording session.
