Dan Campbell (The Wonder Years) starts new video series, “Talking with Soup”

Dan “Soupy” Campbell, the front-man of pop punk act The Wonder Years, has started a new interview video series that he has called Talking with Soup. Here’s what he had to say about the project:

“I’ve done a lot of interviews over the past few years. I mean, a lot, and I get asked the same couple of questions and give the same couple of answers constantly. Recently, I got the opportunity to interview a friend of mine and we had a blast, so, I figured why not do it more often? The goal is simple: use my knowledge of what I like and don’t like to be asked in interviews along with a fairly intimate knowledge of my friends’ lives and rudimentary iMovie editing skills to create something that may not look pretty but delivers a different kind of interview, one without questions or answers you’re going to hear everywhere else. We talk to Jack from All Time Low about his family fleeing civil war in Lebanon. We talk to WWE Superstar Seth Rollins about overly sexual fan fiction written about him. We talk to Yellowcard violinist Sean Mackin about touring with thyroid cancer. All of that and much more is coming down the pipeline on my new web interview series, Talking With Soup. So please, go subscribe. I know it’s not edited super well, but even that took me seriously days. I’m not good at computer stuff. Wow, that made me sound like my grandfather.”

If this series sounds like it’d be right up your alley, you can subscribe to it on YouTube. If you’re still not sure, you can check out the first episode below
