Houston pop-punk act Fenix TX announced on their Facebook page that their resolution for this year is to release their long-awaited new album, which will be their first since 2001’s Lechuza, and they will tour to promote it. The band wrote:
“Thanks everyone for being so supportive all these years. Our 2014 resolution? Put out a new record and tour! See you soon everyone…”
Although Fenix TX haven’t released an album in 13 years, they streamed a new song called “Coming Home” back in January of 2012, and offered a free download of another song called “Spooky Action at a Distance” last April. There’s no word whether these songs will appear on the new album.

Eh…really only liked one song by them (Minimum Wage). When it comes to the catchy stuff, i’d rather hear something new from a band like Mi6, Limp or maybe Dynamite Boy. But what i really wish i could wake up to one day is a new album from Grey Area!!!
Jeff Rhino Neumann is this true??
That’s what Willie says apparently.
Donnie and Damon have nothing to do with this “new” recording.
Not sure if Adam will help write or not.
Hmmmmm I dunno about that haha
Wow.
It’s about time!

Fuck yeah, i saw them with Bad Religion in April and got to meet them and the singer was saying something about this!
I am! Yes!
Oh yeah Neil Cunningham!
Now that is great news!
Not since they got booed off stage at Emo’s in Austin at least 10 years ago because they sounded terrible.
Seeing that Lechuza was amazing, i’m stoked- Not so jaded punk
