Los Angeles hardcore band, It’s Casual, who hail from the east side neighborhood of Boyle Heights, are set to release a new studio album titled, “The New Los Angeles Part I: Through The Eyes Of A Bus Rider” on March 13, 2012. The album will contain 20 tracks, the first single being “The Redline” which you can watch a video for right here.
A video for the first single, “The Redline,” was shot and directed by Rick Kosick (Jackass, MTV’s Wildboyz, photographer at Big Brother skateboarding magazine).
Band founder Solis, calls It’s Casual “L.A.’s only two-piece hardcore band” and he’s dead serious about his art. “I don’t take it lightly. It all comes from deep within. I call what we’re doing L.A. hardcore or L.A. skate rock.” It’s Casual is Eddie Solis’ alter ego. He has guest drummers for live shows and recording but the band is all him. Solis handles all guitars, vocals, lyrics and songwriting. He’s customized his set-up by wiring his guitar to two amps to achieve a unique pedal and mic’ing system.
