East Coast surf punks Night Birds recently announced that they had finished the recording process for their upcoming EP, “Maimed For The Masses”.
Today, the band is premiering the title track of the upcoming album, which is set to be released May 7th through Fat Wreck Chords.
While the B-side of this EP features three exclusive songs, several tracks on this album will appear on the band’s forthcoming full-length, “Born To Die In Suburbia”, which is slated for a summer release through Grave Mistake Records.

“‘Maimed for the Masses’ is about giving something you love your all, even if it means bloodying and destroying yourself along the way, because it is all you know. Whether it is playing rock & roll, skateboarding or wrestling, it’s that “play to destroy” mentality that is truly inspiring. This song is more specifically an ode to wrestler Mick Foley. These are some of my favorite lyrics Joe has ever written and I am glad to finally have it on wax.”
