NOFX have premiered the new single “Ronnie & Mags”, which is the title track from the upcoming 7″ single and and will appear on their anticipated new full-length Self Entitled. Go here to check out the song.
The “Ronnie & Mags” 7″ single will be released on August 14th, while Self Entitled arrives on September 11th. Both will be released on Fat Wreck Chords.
NOFX also recently announced that they are releasing a live DVD version of their 1999 EP The Decline on the day after the release of Self Entitled.

Didn’t exactly change my life, but it’s pretty fun. Pretty standard NOFX.
One thing I did find interesting was the change in guitar tone. I seem to recall NOFX having a thicker humbucker sound, this sounds a little twangier, like a single coil or something.
they said somewhere earlier that they would be recording the guitars using fender gear with the intent of trying to get this different tone, can’t remember when it was said – but you are right.
