Every once in a while the punk rock geniuses here at Dying Scene like to unleash some punk rock trivia to enlighten and enhance the minds of you, the readers. Today’s trivia is about Dead Kennedys and one of their celebrity fans.
Yes you read that headline correctly. Photographer Irish Willis Peele was shooting pictures of the punk band Frontline and Dead Kennedys at a show in Virginia in the 80’s. Does the dude in the middle look familiar? Apparently it’s none other than the Daily Show host Jon Stewart, who was a student at William and Mary at the time this photo was taken.
