The Horrible Crowes, side project of The Gaslight Anthem‘s Brian Fallon and longtime Gaslight guitar tech Ian Perkins, have finished recording their new album. They posted a studio update, complete with release date, on their blog:

We finally finished up after about seventeen days of recording for the record. It’s scheduled to be released on September 6th on Side One Dummy records. We’ve got 12 songs, and we’re all very excited to have been able to do this record. Thanks to everyone who helped and who’s watching!

The guys said in an earlier update that they won’t be releasing any preview tracks or artwork ahead of time, so you’ll have to wait until September. The Gaslight Anthem released “American Slang” last year on SideOneDummy.
