We’ve got a special treat for your Celtic punk fans today. It’s a song premiere of “Spanish Lady” off the upcoming album, “Angels & Devils”, from The Mahones. The tune is a duet featuring none other than Ken Casey from Dropkick and it is seriously rad.
Vocalist Finny McConnell had this to say about working with Casey:
“We asked our good friend Ken Casey to do a duet with us on Spanish Lady because we knew he was the only man on the planet that could rock the hell out of that song! We’ve toured about 5 times with Dropkick Murphys now, and they’re like family to us. We’re heading out on tour with them across the US on Monday. I love the way Ken’s voice cuts in and out with Al Barr’s, and I knew he could do this with us and take the song to the highest level of Irish Punk Rock and Roll !
Also, I lost Al Barr’s phone number (just kidding – thanks Ken)!”
