According to recent reports, O.C. punk legends The Offspring have asked engineer Ian Charbonneau to record and mix an upcoming live release, which will be released online, similar to Bad Religion‘s 2010 live album 30 Years Live.
No further more information is currently available, but the recording of the “live release” took place in Warsaw, Poland at the Orange Warsaw Festival held at Narodowy Stadium last May (for a video of that performance, watch here).
The Offspring recently announced that they have begun writing new material for their follow-up to last year’s Days Go By. They are hoping to be back in the studio next year.
