Tim Armstrong, Skinhead Rob forming new band

Apparently Rancid frontman Tim Armstrong and Rob Aston (Skinhead Rob) are getting the band back together, or at least A band.

On Monday, Rob posted the following announcement on his Facebook and Twitter accounts:

“New band in the works. John John Jesse, Roy Mayorga, Vic Venom, Tim Armstrong, and me. ‪#‎ZERSTÖREN‬”.

I have no clue what the word means, so feel free to enlighten me if you have some insight.

Armstrong and Aston have worked together on several projects, with Transplants obviously being the most well-known and successful.

You might recognize some of those other names Rob listed. John John Jesse played guitar in Morning Glory and bass in NYC crust-punk band Nausea. Roy Mayorga and Vic Venom were also part of Nausea. Mayorga is currently playing drums in Stone Sour, and has been in several well-known bands, including Soulfly and (briefly) Sepultura. Venom previously spent time with Reagan Youth, and it currently playing guitar with The Coffin Daggers.
