Album Detail: Transit set to release acoustic EP “Something Left Behind” in February

In a recent blog post from Brooklyn-based record label, Mightier Than Sword, a release date has officially been announced for Boston-based punk act Transit‘s new album. The album is a compilation of sorts, consisting of one acoustic song from each of their previous albums, as well as three new acoustic songs. Here’s what the band had to say about the upcoming release,

The ‘Something Left Behind’ EP is our first acoustic release, and an idea we’ve been toying around with forever, and now we finally have some time and the means to create it. The decision to do the EP with Mightier Than Sword was an easy one. We’re all into the label and everything they’re doing, and it’s run by genuinely awesome dudes. We’re more than excited to make this happen.

Something Left Behind is set to hit stores February 22, but you can check out the acoustic version of the band’s 2009 song, Please Head North, here.
