The P-Funk of Street Punk is back! New London, Connecticut’s premiere ska/funk act, The Hempsteadys are about to release their sophomore LP Seance! Seance! and they want your help! In true DIY fashion, the eleven man troupe (if we’re counting drummer, Matt Covey as a man) has started a Kickstarter campaign to get the album released to the masses on good ole vinyl. We’re considering taking out a loan for a house in Southeastern Connecticut just so we can pledge $100 to have Chef Jon Logan come cook us some ramen! If you can’t afford a mortgage, or the $100 for that matter, head over and check out the other less ridiculous options they have for donating to the cause. These are extremely hardworking guys, making incredibly important music and you’re lucky enough to have a chance to be a part of it! You won’t regret it.
