Canadian hardcore act, Kennedy are back with a new studio release called Blood and Soil due out sometime this coming fall. It will be the band’s first of such since their 2015 debut full-length The Guilty Poor which is available for streaming on their bandcamp page. In that time the band has toured Canada relentlessly, from DIY basement shows to maxed out theaters opening for the likes of Dillinger Escape Plan and Norma Jean, among others.
Kennedy has just released the music video to the title-track, “Blood and Soil” which highlights class struggle, and recent (yet persistent) aggressions from those traitors to the working-person, the boys in blue. Art and video direction were handled by Nick Pegg of Hashtag Hope with the help of one Joe O’Connor. “Blood and Soil” was produced by Felix Crawford-Legault, recorded and mixed by Ben Evans at Burning Room Studios, and mastered by Brad Boatwright at Audio Siege Mastering Studio.
Please enjoy the video for “Blood and Soil” below, and for those of you celebrating Labor Day, please remember the blood, sweat and tears of those who battled and died before us.
