Rancid announced on their official website that they are expected to make a special announcement on April 1st. They did not give out any details, except they posted a picture of a puzzle that is completely blank, indicating that they will announce more details for their new album or just a tour.

Rancid is currently working on a new album, with Brett Gurewitz of Bad Religion producing it. The album, which has no name or release date at this time, will be their first since 2009’s Let the Dominoes Fall. Rancid’s latest release is Essentials, a vinyl box set containing their entire discography.
