The regular line-up for Jera On Air 2019 already is amazing and with the fantastic sideshow the festival is complete. On Friday and Saturday on both the Raven stage as in the Punkrock bar some great names have been booked with, Black Sun Empire, Ophidian, Nymfo, Of No Avail and R*A*D. And then we aren’t even talking about the Pre Party on Thursday night June 27th. Next to the already announced names, Bury Tommorrow, Deez Nuts, Our Hollow Our Home and Shvpes, two extra stages will be added to this full- fledged, free festival night: the Buzzard stage hosting the tribute program and at the new Raven stage an EMO-night will take place hosted by Dynamo Eindhoven. On Saturday May 18th the band competition Guts & Glory will be held at Dynamo Eindhoven, which will deliver the opening act for Jera On Air 2019. Previously the names for Jera On Air 2019, such as Parkway Drive, Enter Shikari, SUM41, Hatebreed, Heideroosjes, Agnostic Front, Beartooth, the Interrupters and many more big names were announced. Finale Guts & Glory
Every year, Jera On Air together with Dynamo Eindhoven organizes a band competition for talented and upcoming bands to win a spot to perform on the festival stage. This year a record number of 152 bands enlisted, and this year Manu Armata, Another Now (both NL), Main Line 10 (Spain) and Exploding Head Syndrome (Norway) will do their best to win the opening spot for the festival on Friday June 28th.
Pre Party
Previously it was announced that the Pre Party on Thursday June 27th is going to be a full-fledged festival evening. With band as Bury Tomorrow, Deez Nuts, Our Hollow Our Home and Shvpes the tone was set. Next to this, there will be another two stages on Thursday night. The Buzzard stage will host a tribute night during which three regional bands will bring a tribute to Nofx, Bad Religion and Green Day. To top off, the Raven stage will bring a brand new concept: ‘EMO night’. EMO night, with performances of DJ’s Shaking Back Sunday, Big Boys! At The Disoc, Discobar Confessional and My Chemical Bromance is hosted by Dynamo Eindhoven.
DJs
The Raven stage will be filled with DJs on Friday and Saturday. During the day mainly Dub and Reggae, nice and mellow, but as soon as the sun has set the Ravenstage will become a Drum n Bass temple. Internationally renowned DJs such as Black Sun Empire, Ophidian, Nymfo, Limewax, Trasher, The Dead Cvlt and Counterstrike will bring the house down. The Raven stage is hosted by Bangana and PRSPCT.
Punkrock Bar
Last but not least we also thought more Dutch punk had to be present at the festival, so we booked eight Dutch punk bands: Sing Along Riot, Switch Bones, Drunktank, Note To Amy, Screw Houston, R*A*D, Of No Avail and St. Plaster. So even after the official program has ended, the Punkrock bar with its own punrock karaoke promises to keep the festival going.
