According to a current story on the Rolling Stone website, Against Me! guitarist/vocalist Tom Gabel has come out of the closet as transgender. In the story, Gabel states that she has “dealt privately with gender dysphoria for years,” and will soon begin the process of transition.
Gabel adds that she’ll eventually take the name Laura Jane Grace, and (best of all) that her marriage with her wife Heather will remain intact.
