The Dayglo Abortions are a Canadian hardcore punk/metal band form Victoria, BC. Often embroiled in conflict and controversy over their explicit songs and imagery, their lyrics reflect a genre-typical disregard for societal norms. The band was formed in 1979 and released their first album in 1981.
