Germs were a punk/hardcore band out of LA, California, originally active from 1976-1980. Led by the inimitable frontman Darby Crash, the reckless embodiment of punk rock’s lethal passion, The Germs exploded on the Los Angeles scene like a clusterbomb of drilling guitars and pulverizing rhythms and found instant notoriety in the underground.
