Formed in 2015 in Cardiff, Whales, Holding Absence blends emo with pop-punk elements. The band gained popularity in the United States from their second album, The Greatest Mistake of My Life. They have worked alongside Silverstein, Senses Fail, and really made a name for themself in the emo/punk rock community.
