Shellac, also known as Shellac of North America, is a project from Steve Albini, Todd Trainer and Bob Weston. Hailing from Albini’s hometown of Chicago, Illinois, Shellac have been on the cutting-edge of post hardcore, noise rock, and math rock since their inception in 1992. Despite being described this way, they simply refer to themselves as a “minimalist rock trio”
