If you follow me as an artist you may already be aware of what my family has been going through, but for those of you who don’t know, a little over 2 years ago we lost our child Kienan in a tragic car accident. They were 22 years old and my life changed forever in that moment. I needed a new way to express myself and process my grief, and this new band and making this record have been a lifeline for me. Loud electric guitars were the only thing that made any sense to me…
Music is a healing force… I’ve gotten so many positive messages over the years from people about how cathartic and healing my music has been in their life, and that’s really what this new record is all about. It’s my greatest hope that this music can help bring some light, catharsis, and healing to others the way it has for me. I think you can really feel that in these songs.
